I think that you'll find that this is correct, she went to all of their shows and tried to convince that she could sing, not only intune but to compliment his (Shannon Hooe) 's voice. So this song they allowed her to sing the vocal along with him on it, her name is Jena Krauss.

Agreed. Bands don't invite groupies to sing with them on thier records and groupies don't have voices of an angel like the girl in this song does. Adding her to the song was genius, although it's a great song either way, she makes it interesting and I couldn't imagine it with out her.

Bands don't put groupies on their albums. Get your facts straight before you start bashing someone. I just google'd her she sang on some other records besides Blind Melon's. Looks like she's an actress too, she was in a movie according to IMDB.

Incorrect! I just finished reading the new book about Blind Melon and Shannon Hoon, "A devil on One shoulder". Her name is Jena Kraus. She was a singer in new york city looking for a band to join but she hated every band she saw till she heard blind melon play. She heard them, loved the music became their friend and ended up on their second album. This song has become one of my favorite Blind Melon songs!
