Well, maybe it isn't a different Hilary... she may have changed her last name since then... and she would have been about 18 at the time, I think she went away to college or something the next year. I can't remember if she had the same violin teacher as me, Rochelle Walton.

Actually, I think it is a different Hilary. I seem to recall that the Hilary I am thinking of had a last name of "Brewer" or something like that. She was concertmaster the year before I was admitted to that orchestra.

Perhaps.... She would have been 18 then.

She is truly amazing. She's wonderful to watch her move as she plays.

Yeah the playing is great but it can only be so because of the man who wrote the stuff in the first place.

I have no idea what Paganini may have said. But I would say to Paganini: Pag old chap, get in line - There's a queue for Hilary and I'm first... or something along those lines anyway.

I wonder what Paganini would have said if he was alive :) She´s amazing :D

I'm wondering if this is the same Hilary who was concertmaster of the Youth Music Monterey Honors Orchestra around about 1997 or 1998? I remember a piano/violin/cello concerto that was performed back then by this orchestra, back when I was still in the lower orchestra, the YMM non-honors orchestra.

I agree completely. nobody else even comes close.
