I was a little older than you but I do agree with what you wrote about MTV....it sucks!!! They don't play videos at all!!! Song bring back good memories though.

actually youre both wrong, music videos were started in the 1960's and were called Promotional films, several were made by acts like the who and beatles, However depending on who you talk to the first "Music Video" was either Bob Dylan's "Subterrian Homesick Blues" or The Who's "Happy Jack." As for Thriller being the first Music Video, the video was released in 1984, 2 or 3 years after MTV first showed Video Killed the Radio Star on Aug. 1, 1981. Thriller was just the most expensive one.:)

i totally agree with you. im 13. i go on mtv to see some music vids. the only music vids u see are like at 1:00 in the morning. forget that.

it describes the "golden days of radio." u know back in the day when everyone tuned into their favorite radio program. when video came it just killed it. wow i cant believe i know that, im only 13. lol
