Whenever I hear this song for some reason I see Sammy Davis Jr. saying "Hows it goin' all you hep, swingin' cats." Lol I love this song. Its a good song to dance too.

No You are the idiot, Dan does play lead on this tune and the earlier Count Bubba...I went to a concert where Gordon even said that Dan was playing lead on this

I can confirm that. I also have perfect pitch and know trumpet fingerings. I can tell that Dan is playing lead. Also, does it seem to anyone else that Gordon Goodwin is not as good at improvising live as he is on the albums?

awesome

Ok. Very "maturely" put. However, I played lead on this tune not 3 months ago, I have absolute pitch (and obviously know fingerings) so I can tell who's playing what, he's standing in the lead position, and this is all besides the fact that in the GG excerpt book it says that Dan plays lead on this tune. I did not say Wayne wasn't amazing, just that Dan deserves proper recognition. (I play trumpet AND saxophone, hence the name)

You're an idiot or you've just never played this tune before. Just because Dan looks like hes trying alot harder doesn't mean he's playing lead. And also, on this tune, the other trpt parts have the lead line at moments.

were playing the same arrangement but we have the orginal too
