MIA does mean missing in action, but its stuff like captured by the enemy, separated from friendly elements etc. Pretty much anytime a soldier is missing in a combat environment and can't be proven that he is either KIA (Killed In Action) POW (Prisoner of War) or AWOL (Away Without Leave). In the case of this song, in my opinion, it seems like his mind is MIA. Like a Flashback kind of deal.

it stands for : Missing In Action, they have a list of soldiers taken before and after their enrolment for war, ( i might be wrong so dnt kil me pls haha) it was those who didnt come back who were m.i.a. again imight be wrong just thought id put it in there haha, loving this song btw, vid fucking sweet too
