I have to agree with Sunedosa. While this chap does an amazing 'f-ing' job, Russ Parrish is "BANG ON" at getting the Eddie sound, taste, and feel. It's UNBELIEVABLE!!! I couldn't believe it when I first heard him. I had to play it over and over and over again. Again, this dude is excellent too, but Russ Parrish has perfected his "Eddie-ness".

Let me tell ya something, i saw Brian a few years ago when he played with the Atomic Punks. This guy is flawless. i have played guitar most my life and i have seen a ton of players,there is no one closer to Eddie than this guy. if you think your better or closer to Eddie than this guy , than make a video and put it on here. put on the top THE CLOSESEST THINK TO EDDIE, and see who agrees with you Pluckotron?

Brian DOES do a good job of playing the licks of Eddie. Ralph wouldn't have kept him in the band for that long if he wasn't.

Ok, but how can you be so judgmental? You seem to be wanting to go for accuracy, but look at the WAYNE guitar headstock. That's not like Eddie's at all. It's such an awkward cut on a headstock. It's a Fender headstock with the end cut off. And Russ wears a wig, but you don't seem to be so picky about that? You're being too critical. Sheesh.

I NEVER said this guy is a bad player,ofc he isnt.What i DID say is that i prefer Russ Parrish playing over his,as i think he is better at mimicing Evh wich is the whole point of the band.He COULD do what parrish did and get a wayne charvel guitar made with the same templates as eddies original guitar.

His guitar looks cool...so does the upside down headstock. Eddie is the one who can't make up his mind on what guitar to play...Frankenstrat, Kramer, Ernie Ball, Charvel, Fender. What, you can't insult Brian's playing, so you insult his guitar? Way to go. Do you want him to go buy the new EVH Fender for $35K? I suppose you want him to smoke and get his tongue cut off like Eddie so he can look more 'authentic' to suit your tastes? Brian is awesome, and DLR thought so too. Don't be a dick.

Look at all these 'bedroom virtuosos' talking shit. His name is Brian Young. He got a gig with David Lee Roth, the legend. What have you shit-talkers done? That's right...NOTHING. While you are TRYING to play guitar, he was actually doing it. Moved to Hollywood, played his ass off, got the gig. Shut the fuck up and respect him.
