Great demo - I have one, and this is really representative of the way it sounds: any chance of another showing the sound-on-sound?

that's trippy - sounds real 'old school'

Not in the classic pitchshifting sorth of way. Overloading the cirquit creates a deep throbbing sound wich stutters when you change the delaytime. Definatly usable...

Does this oscillate?

You're right, but allthough this is supposed to emulate a tape-delay, I've always seen it as a good analog delay. the beauty is in the high roll-off filter. what do you mean with "max out the signal"? if you max the mix, you take out the dry signal. If you max the repeats, you get a nice overload....

I thought that when using a vintage tape delay with a slider like this one emulates, you don't get pitch shifts anyway because you are just changing the position of the tape head rather than changing the speed of the tape. however do educate me if I am wrong :) Looking into buying one of these, what happens when you max out the signal? does it do that annoying digital nasty-sounding clipping?

Endless feedback is definately not a problem. You can hear what that sounds like somewhere halfway in this video. The overloads are actually very nice on this one, you can get some intense low-end throbbing out of it....
