Rebelrevolution78...Obama doesn't have a clue, neither do the rest of the candidates, other than Dr. Paul. Today's minimum wage has the purchasing power of $1.08 per hour in 1970 dollars. As you know, the problem is the Federal Reserve's Fiat Currency which requires constant expansion or inflation of the money supply to maintian a degree of economic growth. All Fiat Money Systems fail because they all have a finite life-span. THEY ALL FAIL, and ours will too!

funny, but you can't state one argument against his logic. Getting rid of the IRS, the department of education, and government bureaucracies has always been the Republicans stance. No nation building, and not police the world is what George Bush ran on in 2000. Think he's insane, google the Iran Oil Bourse. That's all that I'll give you, you don't deserve more truth than that.

Hah, Obama wants to link the minimum wage to inflation. If the minimum wage is linked to inflation, than all other wages must be linked to inflation, if minimum wage goes from 8 dollars to 12, than 15, than 19 three years in a row, than other wages will be demanded to rise equally. Which will created a system of expected wage raises, which will perpetuate price raises, which will inflate inflation it self. Just like the NFL salary cap raise every year, when it's expected the wage rises.

There is little difference between Republicans that scream "Terrorism" and Republicans that scream "New World Order". It doesn't matter though, they are gone after this year. We will sort it out and get to the bottom of things.

Remove minimum wage...reduce American manufacturing wages to the same level as China, and we will erase this problem. China already has tougher Environmental regulations than the US... only reason they go to China is for wages, cuz its cheaper pay. If US wages go down to Chinese levels, inflation goes down significantly, eventually, the Chinese level wages will go along way in the US. Manufacturing stays in the US. Americans are lazy and expect too much... this is why production has droped.

What about Obama gets president, decides to pick, Hillary as VP, he gets shot by the Illuminati in order to cause riots, Hillery becomes president and declares Martial law. Or, an attack happens before the election and then Bush declares martial law....either way whoever is president will be declaring martial law at some time this year or early next year. People are forgetting about this looming....

Hey its true I wish people would research before assuming something is or isnt true.

We're on the same page ... minumum wage and high taxes fall under overregulation in my book. Both mandate the government to intervene into a private business in the same sense that any regulation would. I should have been more clear on that one.

Corporations move their manufacturing offshore due to lower cost of labor and lower corporate taxes more than over regulation. But you are right we could boycott those who engage in off shoring and stores like Wal-Mart who profit from it. But there is little public support for such action. We are becoming a stupid people more interested in buying cheap shit from communist China than saving our manufacturing base.
