In order to "sell out," you have to commit to "buy in." Bobby never made any such commitment. It was wrongly assumed by others. When Dylan wasn't in the front lines of anti-war demos & sit-ins, he was chastised by the peace/folk communities, by the Left, by the media, but most vociferously by an angry, hurt Joanie who was on the rebound from their professional and personal break-up. Dylan's contribution to the anti-war & social justice movements for 45+ years has been his LEGENDARY MUSIC.
