John Worster on bass....read the credits at the end. I saw Kenton at a danceland in 1954 and nobody would dance......we just stood there gathered around the stage in awe. He kept saying....dance, dance, but no we were mesmerized. I adored him. Still do.

The 2 albums live in london and live in europe were a revelation to an 18 year old! where can I get the CDs - Ye Gods this stuff is incredible - I can't help myself.....

On Aug 20th 1978 Stan Kentons Orchestra gave there last concert at Stern Grove San Francisco. 30 years later His band sounds as fresh to day as it was then do try to listen to recodinbg of that final concert on c.d. and of the last strains from the bandstand of"Artistery In Rythem."
