Omg, that Marth is so bad that I could've connected like 3 shoryukens...

Not at first, but it becomes second-nature after a couple months of practice.

is wavedashing easy?
0wnd1zzl3d (March 12th, 2008 @ 9:46 pm)
Yup... It's gone.

Furthermore his down-b attack was buffed since now you actually manage to cover a distance to recover when using it; in melee you just fell down spinning around x)

Yeah, wavedashing is out. But man, when I play Luigi, I am going to mess up so much, because it I instinctively wavedash after blocking a hit (i.e. block Marth's fsmash, wavedash forward, grab). Wonder how long it will take to adjust to this game.

Similar to wavelanding, but more limited. The momentum you have before air-dodging can carry you in the direction you're going, so unfortunately you cant jump forwards and do it backwards. (encase anyone didn't know yet, you can only air dodge in place now, as was intended to remove wavedashing/landing) Damn you sakurai!
Lonewulf123 (February 17th, 2008 @ 4:04 am)
Nope.

Hey, can you wavedash in this game? I don't thinks so since I don't see any of them doing it.
dskater411 (February 12th, 2008 @ 8:49 pm)
your post doesnt make a lot of sense i dont know what you are arguing over. Like I said, Luigi's HORIZONTAL recovery for his up-B has way improved. In Melee if you press up-B anywhere but DIRECTLY UNDER the ledge, you arent gonna grab it, it only had vertical recovery (unlike Mario). Now in Brawl it recovers both vertically and horizontally.
joebomb14 (February 12th, 2008 @ 3:13 pm)
there is no wavedash in brawl, only wavelanding
sehwut (February 11th, 2008 @ 12:20 am)
you cant but there is an advanced technique where you jump and when you land you slide.
