I'm not sure that playing brawl makes you worse at brawl this is because of the fact that because of less advanced techniques more meta game must be implemented to achieve victory though i do feel melee is more competitive. Only thing is is i wish they had a patch to make the computers better in melee its hard to find good melee players in my area.

"Online play is going to destroy some of the tournament scene." -TinyVoices77 So untrue, if you've ever gone to a tourney you'd know this. Online play can not possibly make up for an actual tourney.
