after two marriages that didn't work out, Bobbie 'retired' from music and lives in LA.

I had this 45 RPM record when I was about 5 years old...I LOVE this song! I'm a classic rock/heavy metal fan but this song rocks! ZZ Top should cover this!

Holy cow. Where is this woman? More talent and ba**s than many. Is it her politics that sank her? God gives talent... idiots ignore it.

Bobbie ...a soulful, singer-songwriter ...with a unique raspy voice. This track is very cool ...thanks for the post.

This is Dusty and janis all wrapped into one, a timeless no-nonsense female pop/rock vocal.

Thanks for uploading this fine piece of music! It's "Mississippi", though, as she is singing: DOUBLE P, I :-)

Wow, this is a woman singing?! She sounds so gravelly and cool! Cheers, 5/5

Another Gentry composition- and one of her best. A funky swamp rocking gem. "One ree oh ree erie ann, fildice farce nickory john queery quan..." Thanks for posting!
