Actually, of the total primary votes cast, he polled just 2 percent. He got 5 percent or less of the Republican vote in 22 separate states, including California, Ohio, Florida, and his home state of Texas. We the People said No to a man who opposes Social Security, environmental protection, civil rights, and workplace safety laws, abortion, evolution, and the MLK holiday.

Wow. Anytime I talked politics with people, and i heard someone mention Ron Paul they got creamed and people called ron paul a cook and i followed them and always said the same thing, my ignorance damned me. I like Ron Paul after reviewing some things about him. I like him.

Bless Ron Paul for he has awaken a passion in me a millions of other Americans for freedom, Liberty, accountable reduced government. Look why are we here after the election? For what ? Ron Paul is one of the few true, honorable Statesmen. Thank God that he has been in congress for twenty years. Twenty years of telling those thief's there busted & one day in this life or after they will pay.

"Stop looking for a handout" Sorry to burst your bubble, Corky. You must have me confused with that diaper wearing old fart, ron paul! How long has "Doctor" paul been sucking off the public teat? Over 20 years! As for ron paul in 2012 it would have to look like "Weekend at Bernie's". Better start charging up ron's rascal scooter right now!

Hey people this will come to a bank near you soon. I know you don't get it, but you will very soon. Ron Paul tried to tell you what will happen, but you didn't listen.

YouTube vid... Ron Paul Answers Global Warming Question at Iowa Straw Poll It's a property rights issue AND that theres still a debate going on? WRONG! Listen to the part where he talks about CO2 coming FROM the ocean. Idiot! The EPA under the current admin., I agree, is doing a poor job. That will change. It will take a national and global effort to effectively change the way our cultures use energy. RP would prefer throwing the baby out with the wash. Silly and uninformed.

Did anyone here see that the Royal Bank of Scotland was basically nationalized by the UK? It is one of the "Big Four" banks in the Republic Of Ireland. I know one thing, the Republic Of Ireland is a stumbling block for the EU constitution. Is this a message to them? I would like an opinion from anyone on this forum from Ireland.

once again untrue, he says if it is affecting your property rights, then it is a crime. Pollution is affecting your property rights.... And you say this like the EPA is actually good. They aren't even doing a good job. 40% of global warming is from the burning of coal for electricity. Why arent they doing something?
qsteveens (November 30th, 2008 @ 8:21 pm)
I didn't say anything that wasn't true. You can hear for yourself here on YouTube the words of RP. As far as I know there have never been tariffs on emissions. Tariffs are useful in part to keep our industrial base from being exported. A carbon tax would be a good start but that's more fed. gov. which is contrary to the RP/libertarian philosophy. As for RP's stance, for example, he favors abolishing the EPA. That does not help address the crisis at hand. Its another bad idea.
