Raram kanaval 2002 Piwo degre Group is distinguised for their "prosesyon" sounds, those reminiscent of rara "bands on foot", genre of music brought down generation to generation from our African ancestors. Musical sounds are typically those of ancient drumming rhythms, rara homemade horns, bambou... Lyrics tackle political issues, express disgust toward the government and the elite class in Haiti.
