Electra - nie zuvor
Backelectra, früher auch Electra-Combo, ist eine Rockband aus Dresden. Sie wurde im Jahr 1969 durch Peter Mampe Ludewig, Bernd Aust, Wolfgang Riedel und weitere Studenten der Dresdner Musikhochschule Carl Maria von Weber gegründet. Sie ist gegenwärtig eine der ältesten aktiven Bands in Deutschland. electra ist bekannt für elektronisch unterstützte Adaptionen klassischer Musik, aber auch für Progressive Rock mit ausdrucksstarkem Gesang und langen Instrumentalsoli. Bekannte Stücke sind Tritt ein in den Dom mit Stephan Trepte als Solosänger sowie Türkischer Marsch mit einem Flötensolo von Bernd Aust. 1980 erschien das Konzeptalbum Sixtinische Madonna. Ab etwa 1980 wurde electra deutlich seichter. Erst nach der Wende besann sich die Band auf ihre alten Stärken. Mit der Rückkehr der ehemaligen Solosänger Trepte (1989) und Ludewig (1996) wurde der Stil der Band wieder progressiver. Und der Abend ist gekommen, wie ein großes sanftes Tier. Hat die Trauer fortgenommen und ich lieg' ganz nah bei dir. Morgen werden wir uns trennen, für eine unbestimmte Zeit. Und die letzten Stunden rennen uns davon, so gnadenlos, so gnadenlos, und ich mache mich bereit. Nie, nie zuvor hab' ich dir so sehr vertraut. Nie, nie zuvor hab' ich so auf dich gebaut. Um die Zeit zu überstehen. Und die Zeit, sie wird bezeugen, dass wir zueinander stehen. Und kein Zweifel soll mich beugen, dass die Jahre schnell vergehen. Dass die Münder sich berühren, wenn ich wieder bei dir bin. Dass wir noch die Wärme spüren, die uns heut' verloren scheint, verloren scheint.
