BackFIDEL CASTRO ESTA "PERFECTAMENTE CONCIENTE", DIJO ALARCON WASHINGTON, 2 (ANSA) - El presidente de Cuba, Fidel Castro, está "perfectamente conciente" y "de buen humor, como siempre", después de la operación quirúrgica a la que fue sometido el martes, aseguró hoy el presidente del parlamento cubano, Ricardo Alarcón. En una conversación con la organización noticiosa norteamericana Democracy Now, Alarcón reconoció que Castro estará "obligado a tomar un período de descanso" después de la operación. Alarcón relató, en una conversación telefónica desde La Habana, que estuvo con Castro el lunes, antes de la operación, y el martes, después de la intervención quirúrgica a la que el presidente cubano fue sometido a causa de una afección intestinal. "El martes conversé con él y debo decir que está perfectamente conciente -dijo Alarcón-. Está de muy buen humor, como siempre". "Hablamos durante una media hora sobre muchas cosas: qué está ocurriendo en el mundo" y "el impacto que tuvo su anuncio" de delegar el poder en su hermano Raúl, contó Alarcón. 02/08/2006 19:58
