くりーむしちゅー（白岳CM）
Back熊本県出身の上田晋也さんと有田哲平のお笑いコンビ「くりぃむしちゅー」が出演する地元酒造会社のＣＭが一部地域を除いて１月末で打ち切られていたことが分かった。ＣＭは、知事選出馬について二人がやりとりする内容で、同社によると「３月に知事選があることから、社内から『不謹慎では』という声もあり、打ち切った」としている。 打ち切られたのは、１９００年（明治３３年）創業の高橋酒造（本社・熊本県人吉市）の米焼酎「しろ」のＣＭで昨年１０月から全国で放送されていた。上田さんが「本気で政治家を目指そうと思う。県知事選に出馬する」と有田さんに相談。有田さんが説得して上田さんも翻意するが、直後に有田さんが県知事選に出馬宣言するという内容。１月３１日いっぱいで関東ローカル以外での放送を打ち切った。 同県知事選は、３月６日告示、同２３日投開票される。現職の潮谷義子知事が不出馬を表明しており、現在５氏が立候補を予定している。
