ZMT's Ev Training Guide...

So many people were asking for me to make this. Now you know why I didnt have a good battle video up in the past 2 days. This is a guide that explains how I ev train. Hopefully it can help out everyone watching. **Use the comments to communicate with eachother and ask for help, but mostly everything important is in this video.** Ev's are properly called Effort Values. Every pokemon starts with 0 in every stat when caught. By battling certain pokemon you fill in the stats with these values. In another words if you want to train your poke in speed, it wont be fighting a snorlax. It will fight something fast like MAGIKARP or gastly. This trains your pokemon to be faster. Its kind of logical isnt it? -------------------------- Step 1: Get all the power items(optional but preferred). Step 2: Get the pokes you want ev'd and know what to ev them in. Step 3: Ev the pokes in the easiest locations, indicated in the video. Keep a checklist of your ev's. If your "pokemon needs to work harder". You need more ev's in some stat. Check your list. Step 4: Try to get the effort ribbon in sunyshore city. If you get it you maxed your pokemon stats by ev training. -------------------------- Q: Is there a maximum amount of ev's? A: Yes, there can only be 252 in a stat. This means only 2 stats can be truly maxed. 510 ev's total. The standard sweeper is 252 speed, 252 in attack or sp atk. Then 6 in hp. Q: Can you Ev train level 100's? A: Yes, you must first use certain ev reducing berries on them. Then redo the ev training. Your stats will only show improvement online. ---------------------------------- As posted by hotchee. The berries that reduce 10 ev's on a pokemon... Pomeg - reduces HP Kelpsey - reduces ATT Qulaot - Reduces Def Hondew - Reduces Sp. Atk Grepa - Reduces Sp. Def Tamato - Reduces Speed If you have any questions leave a comment.
