L'incredibile storia, ormai dimenticata ed ignorata da tanti, su quanto accadde in Russia prima e dopo la seconda guerra mondiale agli italiani che vi erano rifugiati perchè la consideravano la patria della realizzazione dei loro ideali ma che in realtà ha mostrato loro tutta l'insensatezza di quegli ideali e la crudeltà degli uomini ormai assoggettati al partito. Togliatti nel suo continuo silenzio-assenso non ha mai fatto nulla per salvarli, anzi, pur di avere un ruolo di prestigio nel partito si è reso complice di tutto ciò. Può una "ideologia" valere di più di una persona? Toccante la testimonianza del sopravvissuto che tornato a casa e dopo aver raccontato quanto era successo, non viene creduto: "non è vero, sei solo un bugiardo, e Stalin ha fatto bene a imprigionarvi tutti, perchè non siete comunisti ma solo dei traditori della patria". The unbelievable story, forgotten and ignored by a lot of people, about what happened in Russia before and after the second world war to Italians that gone there because they considered it as the place of the realization of their ideals but that in reality it has shown them the whole foolishness of that ideals and the cruelty of the men subdued to the party. To point out in Stalin the guilty one of everything this is only a miserable excuse. Togliatti in his continuous silence-assent has never done anything to save them, rather, to have a role of prestige in the party accomplice of all of this is made also. Could an "ideology" to be worth more of a person? Touching the testimony of the survivor that returned to house and after having told how much had happened, he is not believed: "it is not true, you are only a liar, and Stalin has done well to imprison all of you, because you are not communist but just traitors of the country."
