A bit of Cooking.

Back

Here I am having a little go in the Kitchen!!!!! Anybody is welcome to have a bite to eat at our house as long as you don't mind having it on your knee because where our dinning room should be me and Tony have turned it into a Xbox 360 room where we play every Friday night against each other, the only other condition is if I cook you help wash up. We have this for our Tea (Dinner) now and again more so in the summer. I used, Beef, chilli flakes, chilli powder, salt & pepper, olive oil, tortilla breads, Lettuce, tomatoes, red salad onion, sour cream. The whole thing took about 30 minutes to make although it can be done a bit quicker if you're not filming it. I cooked the beef steak strips for about 10 minutes 8 of which were on a high heat with the last 2 on medium while I got the rest ready. The Tortilla breads were heated for 1 minute in the microwave although you can also put them in the oven. You don't have to use beef or chilli, you can use anything you want I suppose as long as it's cooked properly but I do like chilli spiced beef myself. If I ever do a starter dish for this it is usually corn on the cob with fresh finely chopped chilli mixed with honey over the top before they go in the microwave, I still find a little butter on them after they come out makes all the difference. For desert would be fresh mango pieces in Greek yogurt with broken ginger biscuits sprinkled over the top. I first see this in a TV advert for a supermarket and we have had it ever since. I also do a nice stew with the left over chicken from a roast dinner. Oh yes and Hayley wants you all to know that she found the remote control and not me.
